Financial Planning and Strategy Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic financial planning and strategy team at the University of Reading. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and keen to pursue a career in business partnering.
This role provides analytical information and support to the Finance Business Partners, providing relevant and reliable financial and management information alongside customer-focused support to budget holders and other stakeholders across the University.
You will have:
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- The ability to organise and prioritise work accurately
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel amongst others
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Currently working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA/ACA)
- Experience budgeting and forecasting within a large organisation.
