Aker Solutions ASA is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy production. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the estimation process, preparing and producing cost estimates for various activities, including studies, projects, and management of change requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with project engineering and discipline engineers to ensure timely and accurate take-off information.
  3. Provide expert estimating advice to senior project personnel during comparative studies.
  4. Liaise with procurement, planning, and contract administration teams to ensure effective cost control.
  5. Attend project meetings to address estimating-related queries.
  6. Contribute to the commercial aspect of project management.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks, as well as capitalize on opportunities.
  8. Maintain high computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
  9. Bring at least 10 years of experience in North Sea or other Oil & Gas estimating to the table.
