Job Description

As a Deputy Nursery Manager at KiddyKare, you will be responsible for supporting the manager in managing and training all nursery staff, maintaining high standards of nursery care, and contributing to curriculum planning. This includes:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the manager in managing and training all nursery staff.
  • Maintaining and monitoring nursery standards to ensure compliance with EYFS regulations.
  • Managing stock control of cleaning and art equipment.
  • Closely monitoring budgets for cleaning and art equipment.
  • Fostering social and educational stimulation through curriculum planning.
  • Organising and conducting regular fire drills.
  • Keeping parents updated with events and changes through newsletters.
Requirements
  • Experience as an experienced Room Leader, Third in Charge or Deputy Manager.
  • A passionate and positive attitude towards the role.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Child Protection, SEN, and Safeguarding.
  • Ofsted knowledge and being part of a recent Ofsted inspection is desired.
  • A full and relevant childcare qualification, minimum of a Level 3 qualification.
