Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Tiverton Core Adult Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a professional mental health qualification, such as a Social Work Degree or equivalent, and will have substantial experience of managing a complex caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems. You will also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality comprehensive mental health services to clients with complex mental health difficulties.
  • Manage a defined caseload, providing expert assessment and treatment, and coordinating care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide a safe and effective service.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, carers, and other stakeholders.
Person Specification
  • A professional mental health qualification, such as a Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience of managing a complex caseload of clients with a range of mental health problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.
  • Able to plan creatively to maximise effectiveness of care plans.
