Job Mission

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the Hinkley Point C project. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Lead and be responsible for reviewing and accepting engineering queries raised by the site Contractor within the Nuclear Steam Supply Systems (NSSS) scope.

Key responsibilities include responding to General Queries, Non-Conformances, Change Requests, and Exemption Requests, as well as providing oversight to ensure Nuclear Safety requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and proven experience in UK or EU regulations. Familiarity with steam supply or reactor systems, including design, operation, and maintenance, is also essential.

Additional skills, such as understanding of Nuclear Safety requirements and risk assessment, Professional Engineering (PE) license, and certification or training in nuclear safety and regulations, are desirable.
