About the Role
The Access Talent Group is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to lead their ecological consultancy's projects in the Scottish Highlands. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing diverse ecological projects, including office-based and fieldwork activities, and collaborating closely with clients to deliver impactful ecological solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of results.
- Conduct and coordinate ecological surveys and assessments, using your expertise and professional skills to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Ecology or a related field, coupled with significant experience in ecological surveys and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for site work, as well as flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, estimated at £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, they will enjoy 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, and assistance with relocation to Inverness if needed.
