Installation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at DPS Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £55,000-£75,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including holiday allowance, long service holidays, company pension scheme, private healthcare, EV/Hybrid car lease, and training opportunities.

• Installing cable containment systems to the highest safety standards
• Installing, gland, and terminating cable systems in accordance with BS 7671 and supplied drawings
• Installing electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturer's instructions
• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices for compatibility and safety
• Diagnosing malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools
• Working at height to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures safely
• Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects
• Advising management on hazards and compliance with codes
• Planning layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures

• Fully qualified electrician with skills in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and components
• ECS Grading Card with current training and health and safety assessment
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
• Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations
• 18th Edition qualification and EUSR Ticket
