Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Planner at First Choice Staff, your key responsibilities will include providing maintenance planning support to the engineering team, supplying and controlling engineering documents, raising Purchase Orders, maintaining the quality management system, and administering maintenance software programmes. You will also communicate with contractors and suppliers, identify critical engineering spares, and work with the Engineering Team to ensure cost-effective spare parts are sourced.

Main Objectives:
• To provide efficient and effective maintenance planning support to the engineering team
• To maintain the quality management system
• To administer maintenance software programmes
• To communicate with contractors and suppliers
• To identify and maintain critical engineering spares
• To ensure cost-effective spare parts are sourced
• To provide feedback on unusual movement or high consumption of spares
• To complete and process Purchase Order requisition forms
• To record Deliveries coming into the engineering department
• To liaise with internal stakeholders to agree work activity
• To log work sheets and generate reports
• To log Engineering Team holidays
• To inform management of delivery obstacles
• To manage engineering projects from start to finish
• To prepare reports and presentations
• To coordinate meetings and events
• To maintain technical communication
• To provide administrative support to the engineering department.

Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a GCSE or level 3 or equivalent qualification in maintenance or technical. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical/engineering support role is highly advantageous. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and data is essential, as is having good analytical skills and being detail-oriented. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, are required. Experience of using CMMS systems is also desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary, as is the ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Estimated Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum.
