About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Project Engineer to join our team at Airedale International Air Conditioning Ltd. As a key member of our projects team, you will be responsible for delivering assigned workloads on time and to a high standard, while maintaining a high standard of quality control across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned technical and engineering projects.
  2. On-site supervision of works and management of sub-contractors.
  3. Ensure H&S standards are being strictly adhered to.
  4. Site surveys and progress reviews where necessary.
  5. Liaise with customers and project engineers/managers.
  6. Resolve any problems with internal/external teams, plan, and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly.
  7. Provide reports detailing where and how controls projects and products can be improved for greater quality and profitability on delivery.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve site issues.
  9. Customer connection to update of progress on commissioning works.
  10. Help maintain a high standard of quality control across the department.
  11. Responsibility for delivering assigned work load on time and to a high standard.
  12. Maintain brand reputation.
Requirements
  1. Experience within HVAC/BMS/Engineering projects environment, either from an on-site engineer's perspective or an office support role.
  2. Competent electrical knowledge and capable of understanding electrical drawings.
  3. Competent HVAC and/or BMS knowledge, capable of understanding engineered systems to a high level.
  4. SSSTS or SMSTS qualified or willing to undertake.
  5. Ability to operate to a high level in a fast-paced environment potentially on multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Have good written and communication skills, including report writing.
  7. CSCS or equivalent held (or willing to undertake).
  8. Awareness of BMS/DCIM and common communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP).
  9. Knowledge of IT systems, servers, and communication networks.
  10. Experience with Tridium Niagara 4 & AX software and controllers.
  11. SSSTS/SMSTS.
