About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to our nursing teams and ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to nursing teams and ensure that they are delivering high-quality care to patients.
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs and develop care plans to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate with patients' families and other healthcare professionals to ensure that care plans are implemented effectively.
- Allocate key workers to patients and orientate new staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Support senior clinical staff and assist with investigations or complaints as needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with a current NMC registration and supervision qualification. You will also need to have extensive nursing experience in a mental health setting, particularly in caring for patients with dementia. You will be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor and has a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
