Senior Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Senior Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients across Cornwall and Devon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend site breakdowns and provide technical support to our clients
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on our clients' construction equipment
  • Use laptop software systems to diagnose and fault find on heavy plant machinery
  • Supervise engineers on site and ensure the correct work is being carried out
  • Liaise with our parts department to ensure your van is fully stocked at all times
  • Represent our company in a professional and knowledgeable way

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, field service engineer, senior engineer, or similar
  • NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or similar
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing engineers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
