We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Site Presentation Team as a Hygiene Operative at our Bodmin facility.

About the Role:

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within our factory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all aspects of factory cleaning and disinfection as requested by the Senior Supervisor.
  • Ensure that required hygiene standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Operate and follow health and safety procedures when using chemicals and dismantling/reassembling equipment.
  • Minimize waste from chemicals and cleaning equipment.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of hygiene requirements in a food factory environment, preferably in fresh meat production.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • COSHH Training.
