Main Responsibilities:
• Project Management: You will oversee civil engineering projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Contract Administration: You will be responsible for administering contracts, ensuring timely payment, and resolving disputes.
• Cost Control: You will maintain accurate records of project costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Risk Management: You will identify potential risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Stakeholder Engagement: You will work closely with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
• BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Proven track record as lead Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects valued around £10M+
• Experience working on highways projects
• Good working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
