Quantitative Research InternshipWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Quantitative Research Team as an intern. The successful candidate will spend 12 weeks embedded in our research team, working on a self-contained research project designed to have a real-world impact on our performance.
Responsibilities- Conduct research and develop trading strategies using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with our research team to contribute to our overall research effort.
- Stay up-to-date with industry and academic literature, identifying opportunities for innovation and suggesting how we can profit from them.
- Apply quantitative techniques and market intuition to large datasets, cultivating areas of expertise along the way.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, or computing skills, with a degree in a quantitative subject (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics/Econometrics, Engineering or Physics).
- Desire to learn and understand the structure and drivers of returns in financial markets.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to push and discuss views with the rest of the team.
