Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring the hospital environment is safe and clean for patients, staff, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning tasks, operating machinery, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues to ensure a close working relationship with Ward/Departmental Housekeepers. Your duties may include moving equipment and supplies, cleaning patient areas, and maintaining the overall appearance of the hospital. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.

Requirements:

Essential qualifications include general standard of education and basic IT skills. Desirable qualifications include health and safety level 1 and manual handling certification. A salary of £18,720 - £20,907 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours) is offered for this position.
