About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Personalisation Operative to join our Production Team at Pro:Direct Sport Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of customised products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough testing methods to guarantee optimal machine performance during production procedures.
  • Monitor sewing, engraving, decal, and pressing operations to detect defects and report any machinery malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Verify that all produced work meets customer order requirements.
  • Follow detailed instructions and procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Thread needles with precision and accuracy.
  • Accurately input order details and make informed selections.
  • Edit and prepare visuals from customer-supplied artwork using Corel 2017 programmes.
  • Maintain and safeguard all tools and equipment issued to you, reporting any unsuitable or unfit tools to the supervisor.
  • Meet daily targets while working in an organised and methodical manner.
  • Set up machines at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper working order.
  • Adapt to high-priority tasks and work effectively as a team member with excellent communication skills.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and high manual dexterity.
  • Experience with personalisation equipment.
  • Good eyesight, including colour vision.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Capacity to work weekends and evenings.
  • Previous experience in an operative or personalisation/design role is desirable.
