About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of assembling, disassembling, and inspecting mechanical components and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings and supplier specifications.

Key Tasks
  1. Prepare material and equipment for customer demand, ensuring adherence to technical specifications
  2. Develop and maintain accurate technical reports and documentation, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  3. Carry out routine maintenance checks to guarantee optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  4. Conduct thorough safety inspections and implement measures to mitigate risks and hazards
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum HNC in Engineering or equivalent qualification, coupled with significant experience in mechanical/electrical assembly and inspection
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings and producing high-quality reports
