About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Records Management Officer to join our InfoSmart project team at Abertay University. This is a new role that will play a pivotal part in shaping our data and records management practices and establishing an Information Governance framework.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data management principles, analytical skills, and experience creating reports and documentation that make data management and records management understandable for everyone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of data and records management practices
  • Collaborate with the InfoSmart project team to ensure effective data and records management
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reports to support data and records management
  • Provide training and support to staff on data and records management best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of data management principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating reports and documentation that make data management and records management understandable for everyone
  • 1-3 years' experience working in a data management related role
