Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at one of our premium country pubs. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading a section of the kitchen, training and inspiring your team, and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a section of the kitchen, ensuring that your team is working efficiently and effectively to deliver high-quality food to our guests.
- Train and inspire your team to deliver exceptional food and service, and to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Support the Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation, and stock control, and ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly.
- Have a strong understanding of our branded menu and be able to execute it consistently to a high standard.
- Have confidence in managing chefs and the wider kitchen team, and be able to motivate and develop your team members to achieve their full potential.
- Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations, and ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- A strong understanding of health and hygiene regulations, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- A passion for delivering high-quality food and service, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards.
