Job Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK to provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

Job Details
  • Location: Cheshire West
  • Position: 1:1 Tutor
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing

We are seeking a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status to provide support in the core subjects of Maths, English, and Science to pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education.

Applicants must have experience tutoring core subjects and working with SEND or disengaged pupils. The ideal candidate will be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months tutoring experience
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Have QTS or equivalent
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
