Job Description

This two-year graduate development programme offers exciting work-based placements within the DE&S air environment. You'll work with various teams, industry partners, and Front Line Command organisations on activities like resolving technical engineering problems, keeping current equipment in service, and planning for future requirements.

You'll be part of a pathway to application for professional registration at Incorporated Engineer level within 12 months of completing the scheme. Once you've successfully completed your scheme, you'll join an aircraft systems and platforms team as a professional engineer, ready to start your career.

Requirements

To be eligible, you must have:

  • GCSE Maths and English Language at a minimum of grade 4 or equivalent qualification.
  • An Aero-focused Engineering Honours Degree at a minimum classification of 2:2 from approved institutions.

Please ensure you list the modules, both mandatory and optional, on your CV so that degree relevance can be assessed. All degrees must be accredited by a Professional Institution licensed by the Engineering or Science Council by September 2025.

The estimated salary range for this position is £29,440 - £45,000 per annum based on location and experience. This role involves office attendance and travel to sites as required.
