Water Engineer - Civil Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team in Cardiff, working on a wide range of projects in the water sector. As a Water Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering civil engineering projects, including new and replacement potable water mains, foul drainage and SuDS water drainage design, and water/sewer requisition works.

About the Role

This is a varied role that will give you the opportunity to work across different teams in the business, including Infrastructure and Highways. You will be supported towards professional qualifications with the ICE or CIWEM, and there are strong progression routes towards senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver civil engineering projects in the water sector
  • Work closely with Senior and/or Principal Engineers to deliver projects
  • Contribute to the delivery of civil design across the water sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience working in the Water industry, with surface/potable/foul water design experience
  • MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage experience
  • SuDS approval body involvement
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
