Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Support Professional to join our team at Kingdom Healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality care and support to our clients with complex medical needs.

About the Job:

  • Support patients with daily activities, mobility, and transfers, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medication under supervision, and perform simple medical tasks, ensuring accurate and timely care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing emotional support and addressing social and emotional needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate patient records and reporting concerns to supervising nurses or healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, prioritizing patient safety and high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Compassion and Empathy: essential for client-centered care and emotional support.
  • Communication Skills: ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Attention to Detail: crucial for monitoring health changes and administering care accurately.
  • Physical Stamina: necessary for assisting patients with mobility and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Basic Medical Knowledge: understanding of medical terminology, basic healthcare procedures, and emergency response.

Previous healthcare experience is desirable but not essential. As a Healthcare Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients with complex medical needs.
