About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our team at Motability Operations. As a key member of our Infrastructure BAU team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing best practices for Microsoft Defender for Servers (Plan 1) across our Windows and Linux hybrid estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated remediation and security posture review for Defender for Servers
  • Work with the Infrastructure BAU team to remediate 3rd line issues escalated from the ITSC team
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration of Defender for Servers with our existing infrastructure
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in IT infrastructure and security. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Defender Suite, including Defender for Servers Plan 1
  • Good knowledge of Hybrid onboarding, threat and vulnerability management, and Azure ARC
  • Experience delivering complex change within infrastructure projects and initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
