About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to consultants and clinical teams, including managing patient pathways and producing clinical correspondence.
  • Use Medisec digital transcription software to produce clinical correspondence from outpatient and inpatient attendances.
  • Manage patient data and maintain accurate records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of our administrative systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
