About the Role

Sunblink Ltd seeks an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of 3 cosmetic surgery hospitals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a surgical setting, preferably with a cosmetic focus.

  • The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for operational management, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and objectives.">
  • This role requires strategic planning, collaborating with senior management to set long-term operational goals and strategies.">
  • Business scaling experience is essential, utilising expertise to expand operations into new locations, ensuring seamless integration and consistency across all sites.">
  • CQC compliance is critical, managing and ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations, including handling inspections and complaints.">
  • Team leadership skills are required, providing leadership and support to cross-functional teams, supervising Doctors, Nurses and Clerical staff.">
  • Process improvement is vital, analysing current operational processes and implementing improvements to maximise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.">
  • Financial management skills are necessary, overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure operational activities are financially viable.">
  • A competitive salary of £75,000 - £90,000 per annum is on offer, making this a rewarding opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional.">

Requirements and Skills

  • ">
  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or in a similar senior leadership role within a surgical setting, preferably with a cosmetic surgey background.">
  • Demonstrable experience in scaling businesses and setting up operations in multiple locations.">
  • Thorough understanding of CQC regulations and experience in managing CQC-registered locations, including handling inspections and complaints.">
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.">
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.">
  • Must be able to drive and willing to travel between London, Manchester, and other locations as required.">
  • Familiarity with business management software.">
