Key Responsibilities

As a Branch and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating quality mortgage business by establishing and managing relationships with intermediaries and corporate businesses. You will provide a compliant and effective direct mortgage service to customers, ensuring efficient operation of the Branch while achieving mortgage and savings targets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain a network of intermediary contacts to facilitate quality mortgage business.
  • Recommend and sell a full range of mortgage products to customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities from existing customers and secure retention of custom.
  • Conduct annual appraisals for reporting staff and follow up on their progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and security requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in mortgage origination through intermediaries, a proven track record in mortgage sales on an advised basis, and strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally. You will also need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and have a Certificate in Retail Banking Conduct.
