Cybersecurity Specialist

This role requires a strong background in threat hunting, policy development, log management, incident response, automation, digital forensics, and cyber simulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving security operations and contributing to the UK's critical national infrastructure.

• Threat Hunting: Detect and respond to hidden threats and vulnerabilities using complex intelligence data.
• Policy Development: Create and implement SOC policies and procedures to enhance security operations.
• Log Management: Integrate logs into SIEM systems and develop use cases for detecting suspicious activity.
• Incident Response: Lead responses to major security incidents and improve response playbooks.
• Automation: Develop automated workflows with SOAR tools to enhance security operations.
• Digital Forensics: Conduct forensic analysis on serious incidents.
• Cyber Simulations: Participate in cyber-attack simulations to improve resilience.
• Systems Support: Maintain and optimise security tools.
• Audit & Compliance: Support security audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Automate monitoring and improve event response.
