About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Voids Surveyor to join MMP Consultancy in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality voids services, managing contractors, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-inspect properties to create specifications of works that meet tenant requirements.
  • Engage and manage contractors to deliver high-quality works.
  • Post-inspection of completed works to guarantee quality service.
  • Ensure all issues are remedied with unacceptable contractor performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and provide monthly statistical information on service performance indicators.

Requirements:

  1. HNC, HND, BTEC HND or higher in a building discipline, or over 5 years of hands-on experience in related repairs surveying/construction from a trade background.
  2. Relative experience of building maintenance in a local authority or other registered social landlord.
  3. Experience of working to strict deadlines within a busy multi-agency setting.
  4. Experience in the management and administration of domestic building repairs.
  5. Demonstrable experience of controlling costs and expenditure of maintenance works.

Salary: £280 per day (Inside IR35), negotiable based on experience.
