Finance Auditor Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Audit Co-ordinator to join our Client Money Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of external annual audits within a client money environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support Client Money & statutory audits across Ardonagh Advisory, including management and stakeholder updates, collation and review of evidence, and agreement of action plans.
- Maintain regular communication with internal management and external auditors on audit progression to ensure agreed due dates are met.
- Coordinate the completion of samples by their respective due date.
- Collate and review evidence before communicating to internal and external auditors.
- Fulfil responsibilities in line with agreed processes to achieve agreed objectives and ensure compliance with the client and insurer money rules as per FCA Client Asset Sourcebook.
- Experience in a finance environment within a regulated finance services organisation, ideally insurance, preferably a large complex corporate environment or knowledge and experience of CASS 5.
- Audit experience.
- CASS 5 knowledge is preferable but not essential.
- MS Excel to at least an intermediate level.
- Experience of general ledger accounting systems.
- Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills – individually and collaboratively.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation through identification of process inefficiencies and reduction of exceptions/errors.
- Strong communication skills across all mediums as you will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
