About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our Capital Project Delivery division at Environmental Resources Management (ERM). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing programme and project management, EIA, consenting and permitting support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, on-time completion, and adherence to budget and client specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with ERM partners, technical experts, and external subcontractors to deliver projects and meet client needs.
  • Manage project risks, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective project coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of EIA and consenting processes for major renewables development sectors in the UK.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience as a project manager on previous projects.
  • Leadership and line management experience, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Business development experience, with a focus on client relationship management and bid preparation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and time management skills.
