Electronics Test Engineer

Cooper Lomaz is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join their team at their central Norwich site.

Job Summary

The Electronics Test Engineer will be responsible for the factory acceptance testing of a wide range of machinery, from component level to final assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and circuit diagrams
  • Proficient in soldering, crimping, lacing, and splicing
  • Competent in the use of electronic test equipment and able to follow complex test specifications
  • Fault finding and ability to diagnose in a methodical manner
  • Familiarity with various Mil Spec Connectors, Cable Ident, and Cable production techniques
  • ESD awareness
  • Assembly and testing/repair of PCBs
Requirements

Ideal candidate will have completed a recognized apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering or be educated to a minimum of NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant discipline.
