About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at HL Services (London) Ltd. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and green spaces of our clients to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the grounds and green spaces of our clients, including weeding, pruning, planting, lawn mowing, strimming, and hedge cutting.
- Operate ride-on mowers and other horticultural equipment as required.
- Perform general horticultural duties, including gardening and landscaping.
- Work to your own initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business development in your area.
- Deliver an effective service delivery of grounds maintenance, meeting customer expectations and exceeding business objectives.
Requirements:
- A proven record of accomplishment in grounds maintenance.
- A full UK driving license.
- The ability to self-motivate and work within a team.
- Competence in using power tools and equipment, including ride-on mowers.
- Certificates in spraying (PA1 PA6), Horticulture, and Ride-on Mowers are an advantage but not essential.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance services and the ability to operate a range of horticultural equipment.
- Excellent awareness of Health & Safety and implementing procedures.
- Proven ability to achieve/exceed business objectives.
- Experience implementing quality standards and working to customer specifications.
