Seasonal Youth Leader

Personal Best Education is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Seasonal Youth Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering and inspiring young minds through our National Citizen Service (NCS) program.

We are looking for a Seasonal Youth Leader who is passionate about creating positive and impactful experiences for youth. As a Seasonal Youth Leader, you will be responsible for leading engaging sessions, ensuring the well-being of participants, and collaborating with a dynamic team to achieve program objectives.

• Inspire and motivate young participants to reach their full potential.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, and support to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
• Design and deliver engaging sessions that cater to the diverse needs and interests of participants.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the well-being of participants is a top priority.
• Communicate effectively with senior staff, colleagues, and venue staff to ensure seamless program operation.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve program objectives and outcomes.
• Handle key administrative tasks, including registers and incident reporting, with precision and efficiency.
• Follow safeguarding procedures meticulously and address concerns promptly in accordance with Personal Best Education policies.
• Lead daily guided-reflection sessions to create meaningful moments for participants.
• Support participants in fully engaging with activities on offer, demonstrating and encouraging active participation.

• Experience working with children, young people, local communities, or charitable causes.
• Excellent verbal communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership skills, including the ability to manage challenging behaviour.
• Motivational and encouraging approach to overcoming barriers.
• Understanding of working with diverse community groups.
• Experience in safeguarding and providing pastoral support.
