Job Summary

As a Technical Specialist at SGS, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive inspection, testing, and certification services to our clients. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, you will be responsible for assessing and certifying electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with relevant Ex Standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Estimate the cost of carrying out an assessment, testing, and/or certification exercise.
- Specify the sample equipment, together with any special requirements necessary to enable the complete assessment, testing, and/or certification exercise to be carried out.

Requirements

- Technical qualification gained through higher education in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the assessment and certification of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with relevant Ex Standards.
- Degree level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
