Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Environmental Practitioner to join our team as part of our Degree Apprenticeship program. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while studying for a nationally recognized qualification.

Job Description
  • Work collaboratively with environmental and sustainability teams to deliver Sustainability Strategies, Environmental Management Plans, EIAs, and Sustainability Appraisals.
  • Assist in EIA screening and scoping studies, and contribute to the delivery of EIA and environmental reports.
  • Analyze potential environmental impacts and develop sustainable designs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage with specialists on various projects, including defence, roads, railways, flood management, and water resources.
  • Participate in Early Career Professionals activities to develop skills and build a network through seminars, training courses, and on-the-job learning.
Requirements
  • Hold 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on location. As an apprentice, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a structured three-year soft-skills development program, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
