About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Healthcare Homes. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for up to 34 residents, ensuring that all dietary requirements and needs are met.
  • Liaise with residents to create home-cooked, family-favourite dishes across our weekly menus, including themed nights and classic roast dinners.
  • Work in a professional kitchen environment, maintaining good organisational skills and knowledge of good kitchen practices and food hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless service delivery and high standards of food quality.
Requirements
  • Experience in working in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Good organisational skills and knowledge of good kitchen practices and food hygiene standards.
  • City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications preferred, but not essential as training can be provided through our Academy.
