Land Acquisition Specialist

WSP is a leading provider of land services in the UK, seeking experienced professionals to join our teams across the country. As a Senior Land and Property Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential services related to land acquisition, valuation, and compulsory purchase.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate access to and acquire land for high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK.
- Secure appropriate land rights for large-scale development projects.
- Utilize statutory powers and other available mechanisms to acquire land on behalf of WSP clients.
- Liaise with landowners, land agents, legal representatives, planning authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Manage and settle compensation claims.
- Proven track record in land acquisition and property services.
- Experience in negotiating with landowners and knowledge of the legal process for property acquisition.
- Ability to manage and settle a range of voluntary and compulsory purchase compensation claims.
- Full UK driving license.
