Job Title: Senior Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team at Portakabin. As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for leading the design and technical aspects of projects, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and technical coordination of projects, ensuring that all design packages are coordinated and integrated into the project.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of building systems, compliance, and approval processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design consultants to ensure that designs meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit planning and building control applications, and ensure that all associated conditions are discharged.
  • Monitor health and safety in design and prepare designers' risk assessments and residual risk registers.
  • Develop and maintain a range of skills, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Lumion, to create highly detailed models and designs.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading projects, from concept to completion.
  • Knowledge and experience of building systems, compliance, and approval processes.
  • MCIAT registered professional.
  • Knowledge of construction detailing and building interfaces.
  • Experience of managing project teams.
