We are seeking a dedicated Criminology and Psychology professional to join our team at Academics Ltd as a Learning Support Assistant. This role offers the chance to work with students who have social, emotional, and mental health challenges, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Salary: £85+ per day PAYE, Monday to Friday

About the Role
  • This is an ideal position for individuals with a strong interest in Criminal Justice and Probation, looking to make a positive impact on young lives.
  • You will be working in a challenging school environment, supporting students with various needs, including SEMH, ADHD, Asperger's, OCD, Dyslexia, and other social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • The right candidate will have a genuine motivation to work with vulnerable young people and those at risk of offending, and will be able to engage students in practical, creative, and vocational subjects that spark joy and help them positively contribute to society.

Compensation: Competitive daily rate based on experience

This role is perfect for those looking to build their foundational experience in a specialist school setting, where empathy and pragmatism are key. You will play a vital role in helping to raise attainment among students with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and associated learning difficulties.
