About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is available at Impress Group, a renowned industry leader in the manufacturing of high-quality, custom-manufactured components.

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing components with precision and accuracy.

You will work with various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium, to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our production and engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines
  • Work with various sections, plate, laser cut, and machined components 1-30+ mm thick
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards
Requirements:
  • Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience with various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
