We are looking for a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Sandvik equipment and components. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and performing at optimal levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and test equipment to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
- Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical components as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
- A Technical (Mechanical) diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 per year, considering the location and industry standards.
