At San Carlo, we are seeking a skilled and welcoming Host to join our team in Cheshire. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and welcome them with a smile.
  • Manage the restaurant's waiting list and seat guests promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy front of house area, including the hostess stand, waiting area, and restrooms.
  • Answer phone calls and manage reservations.
  • Answer guest inquiries about the restaurant's menu, special promotions, or other services offered.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Keep track of table turnover and communicate table availability to servers.
  • Handle any customer complaints or issues in a courteous and professional manner.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgment and minimal direction.
