Role Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our Special Projects division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing remediation works on legacy projects across the Group, based out of our Brentwood offices.

The Technical Manager position will be an integrated technical and project management role, offering excellent experience, on-the-job training, and career progression opportunities within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project teams throughout the planning and development process, monitoring progress to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Ensure all coordination issues relating to tenders and contract matters are implemented between design teams, construction teams, employer's agents, and clients.
  • Manage the technical and design process of projects from site investigation and briefing through planning consent to practical completion.
  • Provide technical advice on project feasibility, determining constraints, and advising on budgets, phasing, and timing.
  • Produce, monitor, and update development fees and utility costs budgets and cash flows for all project phases.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification from a recognized institution, e.g., ONC/HNC, NVQ in Construction.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within the built environment.
  • Conversant with building regulations and CDM Regulations, and Health and Safety.
