We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Companion to provide exceptional care and companionship to our clients in the Ilford area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.
About The JobThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support worker or live-in carer to join our award-winning care team. You will be responsible for providing tailored support and companionship to meet the unique needs of our clients, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting, including live-in carers, domiciliary carers, care assistants, support workers, healthcare assistants, or similar. A driver's licence is an advantage but not a requirement. We can cover all your UK travel expenses.
As a Care Companion, you will work closely with our clients to understand their individual needs and preferences. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and manage medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's. You will also administer medication, cook, clean, and ensure the smooth running of the house.
In return for your dedication and expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £24,000 per annum, paid based on your care experience, pension & bank holiday enhancements. You will also receive funded Blue Light Card – giving you access to discounts, ongoing training and development, and face-to-face induction training in London or Oxford (with hotel accommodation included).
