As a Data Science Lead at Roke, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions for our National Security customers, focusing on Data Services and defining novel technical approaches. Your teams will include a mix of technical abilities including data engineering, machine learning, cloud, DevOps and software engineering skills.

As a Data Science Lead, customer engagement will be a large part of your role, playing a key part in the customer consulting, presales and business development strategy; with the opportunity to prepare and contribute to technical proposals and bids.

The Key Requirements...

  • Designing and building scalable data platforms
  • Analytical techniques for extracting insight from a variety of data sources
  • Visualisation of complex data
  • Machine learning
  • At least one programming language Python, Java, C++
  • DevOps techniques for supporting repeatable deployment and testing
  • Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Experience with Agile and Agile leadership roles.
