Job Title: Service Delivery Advisor

OUTCO is seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Advisor to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our Winter Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth and safe running of our gritting operation in the North London area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting regional management with daily operations, managing and motivating operators to achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators. You will also be responsible for maintaining and strengthening communication at all levels, providing leading edge customer service and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily operations and manage operators to achieve targets and KPIs.
  2. Maintain and strengthen communication at all levels.
  3. Carry out site surveys, operator inspections, and deal with breakdowns.
  4. Monitor salt stock and locate new yards as required.
  5. Ensure salt piles are inspected and covered at all times.
  6. Assist with training new operators and issuing vehicles and equipment.
  7. Carry out daily administrative tasks, including updating service plans.
  8. Carry out route and asset planning for better efficiency.
  9. Carry out Service Audits to ensure Quality provision is maintained.
  10. Deal with exception reports and investigate them.
  11. Service sites as cover if required.
  12. Deal with access issues and report them in Nimbus.
  13. Carry out basic Spreader and Vehicle Repairs.
  14. Arrange breakdown cover as and when required.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Computer literate with all Microsoft package applications.
  3. Strong IT skills, with knowledge of MS Office and databases.
  4. Ability to multitask, deliver results, and find solutions in an ever-changing environment.
  5. Strong operational skills, common sense, and logical thinking.
  6. 1 year's relevant experience in an operational role and a willingness to learn.
  7. Right to work in the UK and consent to obtaining a DBS check.
