Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Huddersfield. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have SEMH needs on a 1:1 or group basis. Training or experience in Team Teach, PECS or Makaton is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, take initiative, and be committed to working 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with SEMH needs in a 1:1 or group setting
- Utilize Team Teach, PECS or Makaton training to enhance support
- Develop strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
- Professional references covering the past 2 years

- Competitive daily rate of at least GBP85, with potential for higher rates based on experience and training
