The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including the features and benefits of our products.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our store, including achieving sales targets and promoting products to customers.
  • Support the implementation of promotional offers and stock rotation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about learning, hardworking, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced retail environment. You should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and have an interest in retail business.

Requirements

  • A grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths.
  • Not currently in any form of education and available for full-time shifts.
  • Not completed a Retail Apprenticeship before.
  • Not completed a degree or more than 1 year at University.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Brand new to retail.

Pay Rate

£8.85 per hour.

Hours

39 hours a week on a 13-month contract.
