Job Description

Job Title: Domestic Gas and Repairs Engineer

Company: Rock Managed Services

Job Type: Contract

Salary: £60 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
  • Provide clients with advice and guidance on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and team members

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
  • Relevant qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
  • Own van and tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Clean DBS check

Work Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road
